Went to DPC with Julian Gan, Nigel Lim, Grace, PK, Karman,Yings, Madeliene and Chester to celebrate my bday,woots :)

Really had a nice day and tq so much for giving me presents and celebrate with me :) Dont worry nigel, i will give u something awesome,hahaha

R.I.P.

She passed away around 11.30am. She did not struggled much.

She had been with us for 1 month+. Whenever she sees us, she will be very active. That is cute.

Now all of these will become memories.

I looked at her, lying peacefully, cant control my tears from flowing.

Day of Judgement

I was having conflicts inside myself these few days be4 today. I guess everyone should/already know wats going to happen today. Today was the day the stpm result was released.

Still, I dint take leave for today just to take the result but i am going to take it during lunch hour and so i did it. When i was working and realised tat it was already 12pm, somehow i started to get nervous. One side of me was hoping that I will get 4 As and i started to get carried away but the reality pulled me back when the other side of me was thinking about the truth, it will be very hard to get 4As, at least for me. I know where is my level.

So at 12.30pm i quickly rushed back home to eat and drove to skul afterward. On the way to school, my heart was racing. Not like I saw a gorgeous girl on the way but again i was having conflicts. Like wat if i get a sucky result? Will I able to be enrolled into overseas uni?

And so I arrived around 12.50pm and walked to the hall to take my result. Saw my fellow friends there. My hand was shaking and when i signed and took the result slip, I dunno why. I opened it like i was playing poker, to reveal the result slowly. I was hoping there will be miracle but unfortunately there was none. In the end, I got BB+BB+, PA=B, Math=B+,Chem=B,Bio=B+ .For me, this is not good result, no offence , in case you are offended by thinking tat i am ignorant. Seriously I did not mean that. There is a standard for everyone including me, so i was disappointed with my result.

After some chit chat with Mr Lau, I resumed my work at 2pm and luckily my boss did not mind, phew. After i get to know some of my frens get better grades den me, the disappointment evolved into depressed. Yes, I was emo for like few hours. I know why my result is like this , it is due to my incompetent. I already know the fact tat i am not that kind of ppl who can just read the book willingly and consistently, I am just not tat kind of study type of person.

I am just ranting..

I just hope that i can get in uni and get the course tat i wanted to do.....

Belated CNY post

Been late to update about Chinese New Year post recently. But still, late is better then nothing right?

So on saturday ( 13/2/10) which was the Chinese New Year Eve, my family and I went to OU to shop last minute after we had our reunion dinner. Meanwhile, I went to Shogun to collect my salary which was RM 213. Not bad for 4 days working right? After that we walked to OU old wing to buy Anglia but we were too late, bad luck. In the end we bought Tigerbeer and some chocs.

At night, my parents started to prepare food for praying purposes before we started to pray at 12am. After that we had a simple steamboat as supper before we slept. Cant stay awake for long as we gotta rush back to Batu Pahat Johor later.

CNY day 1 ( Cho yat)

After having a simple lunch and finished packing, We departed around 1pm with 2 cars, Drivers were my father and my 2nd bro because 6 ppl cant fit into the persona,haha. Traffic congestion when we were near to seremban, wtf. Our journey was delayed for around half an hour and after we passed seremban, we realised that this was typical malaysia traffic congestion, jammed for nothing and typical kaypoh-ness, ppl accident and those ppl driving slowed down to check it out. SO brainless, because of their sampat-ness, they managed to cause the whole highway to jammed.

After we reached Ayeh Keroh R&R, I became the driver, woots~ Drove all the way to Batu Pahat and it feel good to speed on highway although my father kept asking me to slow down, potong steam. But still, I managed to speed when he fell asleep :p

Reached Batu Pahat around 5pm and lepak around the city a while. Texted my friend Nigel who coincidently his hometown also in Batu Pahat. Wanted to crash his grandma hse but he stopped me, haha. We went to my uncle's house and den father's cousin's house to bai nian after we had a light dinner ( otak! my favourite! btw otak is not as in brain, it is hokkien pronunciation) After tat we went back to rented house to rest. Not staying in hotel because rented house is much cheaper and we r not that choosy either, as long as we can rest and sleep, that will be suffice.

Gotta stop here for a while, tomorow gotta wake up early to work. Will continue once i have free time :)

Tian Gong Dan

"boom!!boom!!!" The sound of fireworks farting in the air can be heard everywhere. Some ppl will wonder, why there are so many fireworks although today is not New Year? Well, today is the day whereby most of the chinese especially Hokkiens pray to the god ( tian gong ) .

before the clock hits 12am, some neighbours cant wait to play fireworks for celebration. At least we have free shows to watch. Everytime i see the fireworks were shot to the sky and "boom", there goes few hundred ringgits. The fireworks are nice of course, so who cares, not my money also.

Somehow tonite the matas are very efficient, i am impressed. After those superb fireworks tat are similar to those during New Year eve, I heard the siren and it is getting louder. Unconsciously i am nervous, dun get the wrong idea, i dint commit any crimes. Maybe it is because of the brainwashing during primary school about the righteous and just of matas and now it becomes a mark in my memory. Pity the neighbour for getting saman, but i dun think it is a big problem for them.

When the clock hits 12am, our family started to pray to the god after we had made all the necessary preparations. The prayers started with my father, followed by my mother, eldest bro, 2nd bro, me , youngest bro and my cousin. Basically tats all,lol.

Right now i am sitting in front of my pc with a glass of red wine in my hand and blogging, hmm not bad.

There are many versions about the origin of this "tian gong dan". One of them came during Qing dynasty whereby the resistance group tat stationed in Hokkien province was confronted by the Qing army and the civilians decided to hide in the sugarcane plantations in order to save themselves. They were safe in the 8th day according to the Chinese calender. Dun be surprise if u see some family put some sugarcane tonite. The other versions are just some stories made up by ppl.

"Huat la! Huat la!" I cant stop laughing when i heard this cuz my father and my neighbour were shouting out from nowhere. I guess they watch too much Singaporean movies,haha.

ps: I wonder can i wake up later to work without feeling sleepy?

New Leaf

After a few hours of searching, copy-pasted and modified, at last I manage to change the layout of my blog, phew. Kinda headache to paste back the code for nuffnang ads, cuz too many weird symbols and hard to find the correct place to paste it. It took me around 30 mins to find the right place to paste the side bar ads code =.=!!

New layout! New inspiration! I will try to keep blogging without losing my enthusiasm again,haha.
